Jakarta, 14 November 2025 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) has once again renewed three international certifications that serve as key standards in the company’s management system: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System), audited by PT Sucofindo. The renewal of these certifications reaffirms IPC TPK’s commitment to delivering high-quality services, efficient operations, and responsible environmental management across all terminal areas.
Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK, stated that this achievement is a strategic step in strengthening the company’s foundation for efficient and sustainable operational governance.
“The renewal of these three ISO certifications reflects IPC TPK’s consistent effort to maintain high service quality, operational efficiency, as well as a strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental sustainability. This step also forms an important foundation for fostering ESG implementation across all business lines at IPC TPK,” she said.
Through the renewal of ISO 9001:2015, IPC TPK ensures that all operational processes—from loading and unloading activities, container handling, to customer services—meet international standards. This standard emphasizes a customer-focused approach, process effectiveness, and continuous improvement. With a more robust quality management system, IPC TPK aims to elevate customer satisfaction through faster, more accurate, and more consistent services at every terminal.
The renewal of ISO 14001:2015 strengthens the company’s systematic environmental management, ranging from waste control and energy efficiency to environmental risk mitigation within operational activities. This renewal serves as a key pillar in IPC TPK’s sustainability roadmap, including its plans to reduce carbon footprint, manage resources efficiently, and support the sustainability targets of Pelindo Group.
“The application of environmental principles through ISO 14001 supports our commitment to developing greener and more sustainable port operations,” Pramestie added.
ISO 45001:2018 ensures that IPC TPK continues to enhance its safety culture across all operational areas. This standard focuses on accident prevention, protection of field workers, and the company’s preparedness for emergency situations. IPC TPK consistently implements safety briefings, fit-to-work health checks, and improved OHS competency training for all employees and partners. These practices have directly contributed to improving service reliability and operational productivity.
The renewal of these three ISO certifications further strengthens IPC TPK’s efforts in achieving increasingly positive operational performance across its service areas. The integration of quality, environmental, and safety management systems enables the company to reach higher efficiency, minimize operational risks, and ensure uniform service standards across all terminals. With a more controlled and measurable operational system, IPC TPK reinforces its competitiveness as a reliable, modern, and customer-oriented national container terminal operator.
The ISO recertification also forms part of IPC TPK’s commitment to implementing Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles within the company. In line with good corporate governance practices, each ISO standard serves as a foundation for internal oversight, transparency, and more accountable risk management.
“These efforts are not merely to meet international standards, but also to strengthen our role as a responsible company in social and environmental aspects, while upholding clean and ethical governance,” Pramestie concluded.
IPC TPK emphasizes that the renewal of the three ISO certifications is not just a compliance measure, but also part of the company’s long-term vision to build sustainable world-class port operations. With a stronger management system foundation, IPC TPK remains committed to continuous improvement, increased operational efficiency, and delivering added value to customers, surrounding communities, and all stakeholders.
