Singkawang, February 9, 2026 – PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) Pontianak Area held a strategic agenda consisting of the Evaluation of the 2025 Berthing Window Contract and the Establishment of the 2026 Berthing Window Contract as a concrete step to strengthen service synergy between the terminal operator and all stakeholders at Pontianak Port.
The activity served as a collaborative forum to ensure alignment in operational planning, improvement of service quality, and certainty of vessel berthing schedules for service users. The agenda was attended by key authorities and stakeholders, including KSOP Pontianak, Regional 2 Pontianak Management, and representatives of shipping companies operating in the Pontianak area.
The evaluation of the 2025 Berthing Window contract was carried out as part of IPC TPK’s commitment to delivering terminal services that are increasingly measurable, efficient, and responsive to customer needs. Through this evaluation, all parties jointly identified areas for improvement, aligned service expectations, and formulated strengthened coordination measures for the following year.
The establishment of the 2026 Berthing Window Contract is an important step in creating certainty in vessel berthing services, optimizing operational time allocation, and supporting the smooth flow of logistics at Pontianak Port. This scheme is expected to further enhance terminal service reliability and strengthen long-term cooperation between IPC TPK and its shipping partners.
“Through the evaluation and establishment of this Berthing Window, we want to ensure that all vessel berthing service processes at Pontianak Port run in a more planned, efficient, and aligned manner with user needs. Strong synergy with all stakeholders is key to continuously improving terminal service quality,” said Loutfie Hidayat, Area Manager of IPC TPK Pontianak.
Carrying the spirit of “Advancing Port Excellence,” IPC TPK Pontianak Area emphasized that successful terminal services are determined not only by the readiness of facilities but also by strong collaboration and shared commitment among all stakeholders in maintaining smooth port operations.
Through the evaluation of the 2025 Berthing Window contract and the establishment of the 2026 contract, IPC TPK Pontianak Area is optimistic about maintaining service continuity and strengthening operational coordination with all shipping partners. This increasingly solid synergy forms one of the key foundations for the company to support the 2026 throughput target of 283,045 TEUs, in line with IPC TPK’s commitment to delivering increasingly reliable and standardized terminal services.
As part of its commitment to sustainable operational aspects, the agenda was also complemented by a Safety Forum and the Signing of a Joint Occupational Safety and Health (OHS/K3) Commitment. This step reflects the collaboration of Regional 2 Pontianak with all partners in strengthening the implementation of a Zero Accident culture within the Pontianak Port environment.
Through this initiative, IPC TPK Pontianak Area remains optimistic about continuously delivering terminal services that are increasingly professional, measurable, and customer-oriented, while further strengthening the role of Pontianak Port as a strategic logistics hub in West Kalimantan.
