Jakarta, March 6, 2026 – Behind the smooth flow of logistics at the port, there is an important role played by field workers and surrounding communities who help ensure that port activities continue to run smoothly. As a form of appreciation and care, IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) is using the momentum of Ramadan to share with others by distributing 1,730 basic food packages through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program.
The assistance is provided to various groups that support port activities, including port stevedores (TKBM), cleaning staff, port security personnel, as well as communities in need around IPC TPK’s operational areas.
The distribution of the assistance is carried out gradually across several company operational areas, with a symbolic handover in the Tanjung Priok Area by the Director of Finance, Human Resources & Risk Management of IPC TPK to representatives of the beneficiaries as a form of appreciation for their contributions in maintaining the smooth flow of port activities.
Each basic food package contains various essential items such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, flour, instant noodles, coffee, tea, butter, and biscuits, which are expected to help meet household needs and ease the burden on beneficiaries while observing the fasting month of Ramadan.
IPC TPK Corporate Secretary Pramestie Wulandary stated that the program is part of the company’s commitment to continuously deliver benefits to workers and communities around the port.
“The smooth operation of port activities cannot be separated from the contributions of many parties, ranging from field workers to the surrounding community. Through the momentum of Ramadan, we want to share as a form of appreciation for their contributions while helping ease family needs during the fasting month,” said Pramestie.
One of the port workers (TKBM) in the Tanjung Priok Area also expressed gratitude for the assistance, stating that the basic food package received greatly helped support his family’s needs during Ramadan.
Through this TJSL program, IPC TPK hopes that the company’s presence will not only contribute to the smooth flow of national logistics but also create sustainable social impact for the community. The program is aligned with the company’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in efforts to alleviate poverty and strengthen community welfare, while also reflecting the values of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) through inclusive benefits for various groups of beneficiaries around the company’s operational areas.
