Jakarta, September 14, 2026 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) once again recorded a positive operational performance trend through the third quarter of 2026. This achievement demonstrates the company’s commitment to maintaining reliable container handling services while continuously driving national logistics efficiency.

Throughout August 2026, IPC TPK recorded a container throughput of 339,359 TEUs, representing a 10.3% increase compared to the same period in 2025, which stood at 307,559 TEUs. Cumulatively, total container handling volume from January to August 2026 reached 2,510,561 TEUs, an 8.37% increase compared to the 2,316,744 TEUs recorded through August 2025.

“We continue to focus on optimizing terminal facilities to provide the best, most efficient, and timely services for all our business partners and shipping lines,” said Daniel Setiawan, Senior Manager of Corporate Secretary at IPC TPK.

The positive growth was supported by increased container handling volumes across various operational areas managed by IPC TPK. Teluk Bayur Terminal recorded the highest growth, with volume increasing by 14.6% as of August 2026. Meanwhile, Tanjung Priok Terminal, the company’s main hub, recorded significant growth of 13.2%, followed by Panjang Terminal, which grew by 10.9%, and Pontianak Terminal, which recorded positive growth of 4.2%.

Maintaining the upward trend in container volumes across all operational terminals has been supported by the company’s consistent efforts to enhance the capabilities of its operational workforce and implement occupational safety standards in the field. Improvements in vessel turnaround time and cargo handling time have also been key factors in maintaining stable and sustainable operations.

“As we enter the final quarter of 2026, IPC TPK will continue to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders across the logistics and port industries. We are optimistic that we can maintain this growth momentum through the end of the year by improving operational efficiency and developing service innovations that are responsive to our customers’ needs,” concluded Daniel.
