Jakarta, July 11, 2024 – For the first time, IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) in collaboration with DPC SPPI IPC TPK organized a Safety Riding Workshop targeting 155 participants, including employees, partners, and service users who drive two-wheelers in the Tanjung Priok Port area. This event was held in celebration of the 11th anniversary on July 10. The workshop, which involved the Tanjung Priok Port Police, aimed to promote driving safety awareness and reduce traffic accidents both within and around the Port.

“We express our appreciation to the Tanjung Priok Port Police for supporting our efforts to enhance driving safety around the Port. It is undeniable that the Port is closely linked with the activities of large vehicles, which require caution from surrounding drivers,” said Ahmad Mimbar, Director of Operations of IPC TPK.

Held at the Terminal Operation 3 Building of Tanjung Priok Port, the Safety Riding Workshop also featured a Motorcycle Modification Contest, an Automotive Bazaar, an SME Bazaar, as well as Mobile SIM and Samsat services from the Tanjung Priok Port Police. The event was opened by AKP Martha Catur W, SH, Head of Traffic Unit of Tanjung Priok Port Police, and Ahmad Mimbar, Director of Operations and Engineering of IPC TPK.

The Safety Riding Workshop, in collaboration with the Traffic Unit of the Tanjung Priok Port Police, presented three speakers from the Tanjung Priok Port Police: KBO Satlantas IPTU Parjan, Kanit Kamsel IPDA Suhendra, and Banit 1 Bripka Mahendra. The event represents IPC TPK’s continuous efforts to foster synergy and collaboration with the Tanjung Priok Port Police to improve safety and security in the Tanjung Priok Port area.
