Jakarta, November 21, 2024 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) has achieved remarkable recognition for its strong commitment to corporate sustainability and ensuring optimal customer service by winning accolades in two prestigious award events.
For the first time, IPC TPK received accolades at the Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) 2024, organized by the National Center for Corporate Reporting (NCCR) in collaboration with the Institute of Certified Sustainability Practitioners (ICSP). IPC TPK was honored with the Commendation for Best Occupational Health and Safety Disclosure and Commendation for First-Year Participation.
On the same day, IPC TPK also earned a Bronze Award in the category of Large Organizations in Tourism, Finance, Logistics, and Others at the Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) Award 2024, hosted by the National Standardization Agency (BSN). This award recognizes organizations that consistently implement SNI standards while demonstrating superior and sustainable performance.
Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary and External Relations of IPC TPK, expressed gratitude for the achievements, stating that these awards highlight IPC TPK’s commitment to fostering sustainable business practices while prioritizing the quality of container handling services and contributing positively to society and the environment.
As a container terminal operator, IPC TPK integrates sustainable business practices by balancing the principles of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG). The company’s 2023 Sustainability Report was themed “Raising the Capability for Sustainability.” The ASRRAT 2024 award celebrates the quality of sustainability reporting based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, evaluated by qualified assessors who are Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialists.
Following the merger under the Pelindo holding group, IPC TPK has focused on enhancing port service quality to create a more efficient logistics chain and to realize its vision of becoming an internationally recognized container terminal operator excelling in operations and services. This vision is implemented through service standardization, terminal performance improvement, system upgrades, and the application of best practices to increase efficiency, improve service quality, and ensure service safety.
These awards inspire IPC TPK to further enhance service quality and contribute to creating a sustainable future. “We are optimistic that implementing SNI standards within the company will strengthen our competitive advantage and create business opportunities. Additionally, our commitment to sustainability will generate long-term value and positive impacts for stakeholders and society as a whole,” concluded Pramestie.
