Jakarta, November 29, 2024 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK), a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, received prestigious accolades at the Bisnis Indonesia Logistics Awards (BILA) 2024. This year, IPC TPK earned two awards: Best SOE Subsidiary in the Container Shipping Sector and the Special Award: Operational Excellence in Container Terminal Operator. The awards were accepted by Yanuar Evyanto, Director of Finance, HR, and Risk Management of IPC TPK, at Graha CIMB Niaga, Jakarta.

In his speech, Yanuar emphasized that these awards reflect the success of IPC TPK’s operational transformation and service standardization efforts, which aim to deliver efficient and sustainable container handling services. He expressed gratitude to Bisnis Indonesia Logistics Awards for the recognition.

The Bisnis Indonesia Logistics Awards (BILA) 2024 is an award event organized by Bisnis Indonesia to honor industry players who have significantly contributed to advancing the national logistics and transportation sectors. Under the theme “Reliable and Efficient,” BILA 2024 aims to inspire and motivate national logistics players to become more reliable, efficient, and competitive, thereby enhancing the domestic economy.

The logistics sector is a critical pillar of the national economy. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency, as of Q3 2024, the transportation and warehousing sector, which includes logistics, experienced annual growth of 8.64%, making it the second-highest growth sector after other services. This highlights the logistics sector’s substantial contribution to the national economy and its pivotal role in promoting equitable development across Indonesia.

The BILA 2024 event was attended by prominent figures, including the Secretary General of the Ministry of Transportation Novie Riyanto, Chairperson of INSA Carmelita Hartoto, Chairman of the Manufacturing Industry Sector of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) Bobby Gafur, Chairman of the Indonesian Logistics Association Mahendra Rianto, and the Secretary General of the Indonesian Logistics and Forwarder Association (ALFI), along with the Board of Commissioners and Directors of Bisnis Indonesia Group.

This marks IPC TPK’s third consecutive participation in the Bisnis Indonesia Logistics Awards, a premier event focused on the logistics sector. In 2023, IPC TPK won the Container Terminal Operator of the Year award, and in 2022, the company was recognized as the Best Container Terminal Operator.

“These awards motivate us to continue enhancing our services for clients. IPC TPK prioritizes operations based on planning and control while advancing digitalization, including implementing a single system across all IPC TPK terminals. This initiative supports Pelindo Holding’s focus on reducing port stay times, contributing to the reduction of national logistics costs,” Yanuar concluded.
