Jakarta, May 8, 2025 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK), a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Subholding, continues to produce outstanding talents who have excelled in innovation events held by the Pelindo Group. IPC TPK’s representatives, who were part of collaborative teams from various Pelindo subsidiaries, won two awards at the Pelindo Innovation Award 2024–2025: First Place in the Innovation Challenge ALPI category and a Consolation Prize (Harapan 1) in the same category.
“The emergence of IPC TPK innovators reflects the company’s commitment to generating innovative ideas in support of strategic programs within the Pelindo Group,” said Yanuar Evyanto, Director of Finance, HR, and Risk Management at IPC TPK.
IPC TPK has contributed significantly to innovative solutions within the Pelindo Group. Pratiwi Karim, Senior Commercial Manager at IPC TPK, was part of a team from Pelindo Headquarters and the Container Terminal Subholding that won First Place in the Innovation Challenge ALPI with their innovation titled Dual Cycle Haulage. The idea aims to minimize idle time of trucks during haulage or quay transfers. Meanwhile, Putra Indra Kusuma, Senior Assistant Manager of Operations Control at IPC TPK, alongside a joint team from Pelindo Multi Terminal Subholding, won the Consolation Prize (Harapan 1) in the same category with their innovation PAI GPT, an AI-powered system connected to a database that provides real-time, accurate information on cargo traffic, production, and operational equipment availability.
IPC TPK has consistently developed innovators in the port sector. In 2024, IPC TPK’s innovators also received recognition at the Pelindo Idea 2023 event with their innovation on Human Resource Quality Validation using a Digital Assessment Platform. The EASY Team, consisting of Syarif Muhammad Fauzan, Dian Saputra, and Hendra Mochtar from IPC TPK Pontianak, won second place among hundreds of other innovators.
The Pelindo Innovation Award aims to provide a platform for Pelindo personnel to present innovative ideas in developing Indonesia’s port ecosystem. Among its categories is the Innovation Challenge ALPI. ALPI (Accelerated Leadership Program for Pelabuhan Indonesia) is a program initiated by Pelindo to strengthen human resources in realizing Pelindo’s vision as a world-class, integrated maritime ecosystem leader.
