Jakarta, September 13, 2025 – IPC TPK and the Quarantine Agency continue to strengthen their synergy in delivering top-tier services to customers. In celebration of National Customer Day and with a shared commitment to fast, secure, and integrated services, IPC TPK and the Quarantine Agency inaugurated the new Quarantine Office and Longroom at IPC TPK Area Tanjung Priok 2. The presence of these new facilities is expected to improve service efficiency and add value for port service users.

The newly established port quarantine facilities aim not only to reinforce the monitoring system for the movement of animals, plants, and their derivatives but also to follow up on recommendations from the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention (Stranas PK). The development of these quarantine facilities is a tangible step toward enhancing public services in the quarantine sector, strengthening governance, transparency, and oversight to ensure more accountable and faster quarantine services.

Yanuar Evyanto, Director of Finance, HR & Risk Management at IPC TPK, stated in his remarks, “The presence of the Quarantine Longroom is part of our commitment to delivering faster, more transparent, and efficient services. We believe that improving service quality will have a real impact on the smooth flow of logistics.”

The inauguration ceremony of the Quarantine Behandle Office & Longroom was held at IPC TPK Tanjung Priok 2 and attended by Amir Hasanuddin, Head of the Jakarta Regional Quarantine Center for Animals, Fish, and Plants; Mustamin, Head of the Plant Quarantine Team; Imam Rahmadi, Head of Quarantine Services; along with the entire Quarantine Agency team. Representatives from importers and IPC TPK management were also present.

The ceremony was marked by the joint inspection of the first imported container, signaling the start of operations for the Quarantine Longroom as a new facility supporting smooth service processes at IPC TPK Area Tanjung Priok 2.

“The quarantine longroom is a concrete form of collaboration to build a more reliable logistics ecosystem. Together with stakeholders, we are ready to provide the best service to ensure smooth goods flow, customer satisfaction, and safety in every inspection process,” Yanuar concluded.

In addition to promoting efficiency, the presence of the quarantine Longroom and Office is also designed to enhance safety during goods inspection. With more representative and standardized facilities, inspections can be conducted more safely, in a controlled manner, and in accordance with procedures—protecting both officers and service users from potential risks during the quarantine process.
