Padang, September 11, 2025 – The cheerful smiles of students from Sekolah Luar Biasa (Special Needs School) Bundo Kanduang colored the visit of IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) as they handed over educational assistance and learning facilities. Through the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL), IPC TPK is committed to ensuring that children with special needs receive real support in pursuing equal and inclusive education. This initiative also supports the Sahabat Inspiratif Pelindo program initiated by Pelindo Holding.
“We believe every child, without exception, deserves equal learning opportunities. For IPC TPK, social responsibility is not just a program—it’s a calling to deliver real impact. IPC TPK is here to accompany the journey of children with special needs so they can have a proper and hopeful learning environment,” said Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK.
This TJSL program is a tangible manifestation of Pelindo’s commitment to supporting inclusive education, in line with the 4th point of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aims to ensure quality and equitable education for all. Support is provided so that children with special needs can experience equal learning opportunities. A total of 30 students from SLB Bundo Kanduang participated in the event warmly.
On this occasion, IPC TPK donated 3 wheelchairs to support teaching and learning activities, along with educational funding for scholarships, facilities, and learning support. Symbolically, the donation was handed over by Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary & External Affairs of IPC TPK, to the Head of SLB Bundo Kanduang, Heru Putra Dharma, S.Pd.
Beyond the donation, IPC TPK also invited students to explore the world of ports in a fun way through the screening of an educational animated film. Students were also encouraged to express their creativity by painting on hats. Additionally, IPC TPK distributed school supplies such as backpacks and lunch boxes to all students as tangible support for their learning activities.
“We want to be an inspiring companion for children with special needs. With the right facilities and motivation, we believe they can continue to grow, learn, and contribute to the nation. We believe that from inclusive learning spaces, strong and empowered generations will emerge,” Pramestie concluded.
