Jakarta, 16 September 2025 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) has once again recorded an increase during the August 2025 period. The growth recorded from January to August 2025 reached 13.8% compared to the same period in 2024. IPC TPK achieved a throughput of 2,316,744 TEUs during January – August 2025, compared to 2,036,044 TEUs in the same period of 2024.

“This increase is inseparable from the trust of service users in IPC TPK. We maintain this trust by introducing service innovations to make the logistics distribution process more effective and efficient,” said Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK.

In August 2025, IPC TPK’s performance rose by 7.18% compared to August 2024. The performance realization in August 2025 was 307,559 TEUs, up from 286,951 TEUs in August 2024.

This growth was supported by increased commodity activity across most IPC TPK operational areas. Rising exports of commodities such as coffee, fresh bananas, and rubber, along with imports of animal feed supplements, corn gluten meal, and squid liver powder, dominated in the Lampung Province. Export value growth of coconut and wood products was seen in South Sumatra Province. Cocoa exports surged by over 100%, while domestic cargo such as cement rose by 77.5%, dominating in West Sumatra Province. In addition to commodity growth, IPC TPK’s performance was also influenced by increased container cargo in the Pontianak area, with shipping companies recording an average increase of 13%.
