Jakarta, September 24, 2025 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) once again held its QHSSE Forum at the Passenger Terminal of Tanjung Priok Port, involving all port stakeholders, including stevedoring companies, work partners, representatives of loading and unloading labor, and relevant agencies. This event is a regular forum held every six months as a form of IPC TPK’s commitment to strengthening the safety culture in the port environment.

“Safety is the top priority in every port operational activity. Through the QHSSE Forum, we aim to ensure that all involved parties share the same understanding, support one another, and are committed to safety standards,” said Yessi Sevryani, Assistant Senior Manager QHSSE at IPC TPK.

In this forum, participants not only received policy briefings and shared experiences in implementing safety management systems, but were also given space to express aspirations and provide input regarding field operations.

Representatives from stevedoring companies welcomed the forum’s organization. “We appreciate IPC TPK’s initiative in regularly holding the QHSSE Forum. Through this forum, we can directly provide feedback, discuss field challenges, and collaboratively find solutions. It’s very beneficial for improving safety and operational efficiency,” said Denny, Operations Manager at PT PBM Adipurusa.

The IPC TPK QHSSE Forum is held to align safety standards among stakeholders, increase compliance with safety procedures in terminal areas, reduce the risk of workplace accidents and operational losses, encourage active participation from all parties in maintaining port safety and security, and serve as an open communication platform to hear stakeholder input and aspirations.

Through this forum, all parties benefit from improved coordination, open and constructive communication, and the creation of a safe, healthy, and productive work culture across all port operational areas.

On this occasion, IPC TPK also urged all port stakeholders to prioritize safety in every operational activity, ensure all workers use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, maintain coordination and communication between parties to avoid miscommunication in the field, promptly report any unsafe conditions or actions, and support the creation of a safe, healthy, and productive work culture.

By holding this forum regularly, IPC TPK hopes the safety culture becomes deeply embedded across all operational lines, enabling the port to continue delivering reliable, safe, and highly competitive services.
