Jakarta, 14 January 2026 – IPC Terminal Petikemas marked a new milestone in its operational performance. Throughout 2025, the company recorded a total throughput of 3,597,487 TEUs, growing 13.2% compared to the 2024 achievement of 3,177,939 TEUs. This accomplishment represents the highest throughput in the company’s history since its establishment and further affirms the strategic role of IPC Terminal Petikemas as a key driver of logistics flows and national export–import activities, particularly in western Indonesia.
This historic achievement reflects the success of continuous service transformation and strengthening of terminal competitiveness undertaken by IPC Terminal Petikemas. Improvements in operational efficiency, service development, stronger collaboration with stakeholders, and the enhancement of human resource competence and capability have become essential foundations in supporting increasingly complex, internationally standardized terminal operations.
Corporate Secretary of IPC Terminal Petikemas, Pramestie Wulandary, stated that the 3.6 million TEUs milestone was the result of customer trust and strong synergy with all stakeholders. She explained that the achievement is not merely a number, but tangible proof of users’ confidence in IPC Terminal Petikemas’ services, supported by continuous innovation, service quality improvement, and the launch of several new services, both regular and ad hoc, which became the main drivers of throughput growth throughout 2025.
Positive performance was also reflected in December 2025, when throughput reached 327,880 TEUs, an increase of 12% compared to December 2024’s 292,690 TEUs. Of the total, domestic containers accounted for 247,153 TEUs, while international containers reached 80,727 TEUs, indicating balanced growth between domestic and international logistics flows.
Throughout 2025, IPC Terminal Petikemas served 25 new services, both regular and ad hoc, creating new opportunities for customers and strengthening the availability of cargo transportation capacity. This initiative contributed to smoother logistics flows and expanded national and international trade connectivity.
Performance improvements were recorded across almost all operational areas, with Tanjung Priok growing by 13.74%, followed by the Panjang Area rising significantly by 24.5%, the Teluk Bayur Area increasing by 16.74%, the Pontianak Area growing by 7.4%, and the Palembang Area recording 6.1% growth.
In line with these achievements, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) data showed positive national trade performance, with non-oil and gas exports increasing by 7.07% to US$244.75 billion, while non-oil and gas imports rose by 4.37% to US$188.61 billion, resulting in a non-oil and gas trade surplus of US$56.15 billion for the January–November 2025 period.
Concluding her statement, Pramestie emphasized that this achievement serves as a foundation for future growth, reaffirming IPC Terminal Petikemas’ commitment to continuous innovation and to strengthening its role in supporting the smooth flow of national logistics. She also expressed the company’s highest appreciation to all stakeholders for their support and collaboration in enabling IPC Terminal Petikemas to surpass the 3.6 million TEUs milestone for the first time.
