Jakarta, March 16, 2026 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) once again facilitated community members to return to their hometowns through the Mudik Gratis Bersama Pelindo (Free Homecoming with Pelindo) Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. This program is part of the company’s commitment to supporting the mudik tradition in a safe, comfortable, and well-organized manner, while bringing joy to those who wish to celebrate the holiday with their families in their hometowns.
IPC TPK’s Corporate Secretary, Pramestie Wulandary, stated that this program reflects the company’s dedication to supporting community mobility during the Lebaran period while providing a safer and more comfortable travel alternative.
“Through this program, we want to ensure that travelers can make their journey safely, comfortably, and without the burden of transportation costs. We also hope this program can help reduce the density of private vehicles, particularly motorcycles, on the roads during the mudik and return travel period,” said Pramestie.
In this year’s implementation, IPC TPK facilitated 500 mudik participants on the Jakarta–Semarang route. A total of 250 travelers departed from Jakarta to Semarang, while the remaining 250 participants were facilitated for the return journey from Semarang to Jakarta after the Lebaran holiday.
This annually recurring program is part of the TJSL synergy within the Pelindo Group. IPC TPK continues to strive to maintain the quality of the program’s implementation so that its benefits can be genuinely felt by the community, particularly those residing around the company’s operational areas.
Beyond its social dimension, this activity also serves as a demonstration of support for efforts to create a more orderly and safe transportation ecosystem during the Lebaran holiday season. Mudik participants were also provided with meals, snacks, and beverages to accompany their journey, further enhancing comfort along the way.
More than simply facilitating the homecoming journey, this program also represents IPC TPK’s commitment to sharing happiness during the Eid al-Fitr moment and strengthening the bond between the company and the community.
“Our hope is that this journey does not only deliver the travelers safely to their hometowns, but also brings happiness as they are reunited with their beloved families. We wish all participants a safe arrival, a warm and joyful Eid al-Fitr celebration, and a healthy and safe return to Jakarta,” Pramestie concluded.
