Jakarta, March 4, 2026 – Ramadan does not slow down the rhythm of activities at the port. Amid 24-hour loading and unloading operations, truck drivers and port workers (TKBM) remain on the frontline in ensuring the smooth flow of national logistics. Understanding this round-the-clock work rhythm, IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) is gradually distributing a total of 1,600 free iftar (takjil) packages throughout the Ramadan 1447 Hijri period to service users and TKBM working within the terminal area.

The distribution of takjil is not merely a symbolic activity, but part of IPC TPK’s Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) aligned with the Pelindo Berbagi Ramadan 1447 H initiative and carried out continuously throughout the holy month.

“Through this program, we want to ensure that truck drivers and TKBM who continue working into the evening can observe their fast more comfortably. The presence of these takjil packages is a simple yet meaningful gesture for those who help maintain the smooth flow of national logistics,” said Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary & External Relations of IPC TPK.

Within the terminal area, loading and unloading activities operate 24 hours a day without interruption. Ramadan does not reduce operational intensity; in fact, container traffic tends to increase as Eid al-Fitr approaches. Therefore, attention to the spiritual well-being and welfare of field workers also remains a priority for the company.

In addition to the Takjil Sharing Program, IPC TPK’s Ramadan 1447 H TJSL initiatives include the distribution of Ramadan basic food packages across all company work areas, the Mudik Bersama (Homecoming Program) for communities in need, support for worship facilities within the Tanjung Priok Port area, and support for Ramadan religious study sessions to strengthen togetherness and spirituality in the workplace.

These programs are designed not only to provide material assistance but also to create a warmer and more inclusive Ramadan atmosphere for all stakeholders within the port environment.
