Jakarta, December 27, 2023 – For the first time, IPC Terminal Petikemas/IPC TPK has been honored at the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) 2022 awards under the category of Indonesia Trusted Companies Award as a Trusted Company for the Non-Financial Company Group (Issuers, State-Owned Enterprises, Regional-Owned Enterprises). IPC TPK achieved this recognition by successfully building strategies and systems that support readiness and adaptability to changes, enabling sustainable growth performance. This marks the 23rd award received by IPC TPK throughout 2023 from various national and international award platforms.
“This award is the result of IPC TPK’s consistency in adapting to external environmental developments and implementing internal integration to ensure sustainable growth. Participation in this event is one of our efforts to evaluate corporate governance performance,” stated Guna Mulyana, CEO of IPC TPK.
The Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) 2022 is organized by The Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG) in collaboration with SWA Magazine. The theme for CGPI 2022 is “Building Company Agility within the Framework of Good Corporate Governance.”
IPC TPK received the award after undergoing an analysis process, including self-assessment, document assessment, and observation stages through interviews involving the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners in November. The CGPI 2022 assessment method covers three aspects: governance structure, governance processes, and governance outcomes.
“In the future, IPC TPK will promote the implementation of GCG quality through continuous improvement, evaluate through benchmarking corporate governance practices in the port industry, and explore areas that need improvement to strengthen governance. Hopefully, with the received award, we can continue to contribute and actively play a role in enhancing the dissemination of the importance of GCG implementation and improving the company’s image in the eyes of stakeholders,” concluded Guna.
