Jakarta, August 3, 2026 – The management of IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) welcomed an official delegation from the Government of Madagascar, accompanied by representatives from the National Single Window Agency (LNSW) under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, at the Integrated Planning & Control Room in Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, on Thursday (July 30). The working visit aimed to provide the delegation with firsthand insight into the digital port operating system implemented by IPC TPK. In addition to serving as a platform for knowledge sharing on logistics service simplification, the strategic meeting was intended to strengthen the longstanding bilateral relationship and economic cooperation between Indonesia and Madagascar.
“This visit is an excellent opportunity for IPC TPK to demonstrate how the implementation of the Integrated Planning & Control Room has modernized cargo handling services through real-time monitoring and efficient operations,” said Yanuar Evyanto, Acting Director of Commercial & Business Development of IPC TPK.
During the visit, the Madagascar delegation observed the centralized visualization of vessel and container service planning and operational control. The synergy between IPC TPK’s port modernization initiatives and the system developed by LNSW has proven effective in reducing dwelling time while enhancing transparency throughout the cargo flow within the terminal. The implementation of this technology attracted significant interest from the Madagascar delegation, as the country is currently undertaking comprehensive reforms in port governance and international trade digitalization to accelerate national economic growth. Facilitated by LNSW under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, the exchange of expertise in single window management and container terminal operations is expected to unlock greater economic potential across the Indian Ocean region.
The visit was attended by the Board of Directors of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), the management of Pelindo Regional 2, and the management of IPC TPK. During the session, IPC TPK’s operations team presented the company’s profile as part of the Pelindo Group and its role as a container terminal operator at Tanjung Priok Port. The Madagascar delegation and the LNSW team were then invited to tour the Integrated Planning & Control Room, where they observed the functions of Marine Services, Multipurpose Operations, Container Terminal Operations, and Traffic & Safety Control.
“We hope that this digitalized system, integrated with the LNSW ecosystem, will serve as a valuable reference for the development of Madagascar’s logistics system while opening broader opportunities for maritime collaboration between our two countries,” Yanuar concluded.
