Jambi, August 11, 2025 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK), a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, continues to ensure optimal service through strengthening both hard infrastructure and soft infrastructure. One of the service improvement steps is through the Refreshment Container Terminal Operation (CTO) for workers in all work areas. This time, the Refreshment CTO was conducted for the operations team in the Jambi Area. This activity is an effort to enhance the basic competencies of the operations team within IPC TPK regarding the management processes at the container terminal.
“This effort is a step by IPC TPK to realize sustainable Human Resources where HR management focuses on the continuous development and maintenance of the workforce to remain productive, competent, and able to adapt to the dynamics of the maritime and logistics world. The Refreshment CTO will provide comprehensive understanding and enhance workers’ abilities in realizing transformation at IPC TPK,” said Yanuar Evyanto, Director of Finance, HR, and Risk Management at IPC TPK.
The Refreshment CTO is part of the operational excellence program and is a step in forming competent and professional HR within IPC TPK. This activity was attended by 30 operations workers. It was held from August 5-7, 2025, divided into 3 batches. It started with enhancing understanding of container terminal operations patterns, container terminal business processes, planning and control functions, an overview of the global network and domestic shipping lines, as well as the introduction of the TOS Nusantara applied at the terminal, and increasing awareness of safety aspects.
“In addition to competency development, IPC TPK ensures employee welfare, talent management, and innovation development to achieve sustainable HR. It is hoped that through a series of training, workers can implement it in operational activities by adhering to safety and security standards to promote the creation of a high-performance zero-accident container terminal,” Yanuar concluded.
