Jakarta, April 1, 2024 – IPC Terminal Petikemas/IPC TPK, a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, organized the TJSL Free Homecoming Program with BUMN Pelindo 2024. This activity has been routinely carried out every year at the end of Ramadan for almost 10 years. This year, 10 buses were provided to transport 500 homebound travelers to and from Jakarta.

“We have prepared a fleet of tourism-standard buses to depart a total of 500 travelers for free to Jakarta and return from Semarang to Jakarta. IPC TPK’s involvement in this program is a form of support for Pelindo holding’s program and the government’s program in anticipating the surge of people who want to go home using private vehicles, especially motorcycles,” said Guna Mulyana, President Director of IPC TPK.

Registration for the Free Homecoming Program with BUMN Pelindo 2024, which was opened to the public online on March 9, was filled up within just 20 minutes. The general public, especially those around the Tanjung Priok Port area, showed great enthusiasm in participating in Pelindo’s Homecoming Program. The travelers are planned to depart for Semarang on April 4, 2024, and return to Jakarta on April 16, 2024, from Semarang.

“I am very grateful to be able to participate in this program. God willing, my whole family will join. It saves travel expenses, so the money originally allocated for transportation can be used for other purposes. No more tiredness on the road. Because of the high demand, it feels great to be able to participate,” said Triniani, a participant of the Free Homecoming Program with BUMN Pelindo 2024.

Before departing the prospective travelers, on March 27-28 at Tanjung Priok Port, prospective travelers showed great enthusiasm when obtaining tickets to participate in Pelindo’s Homecoming Program 2024.

“Alhamdulillah, the homecoming quota provided by IPC TPK ran out quickly. Participants are not only from around Tanjung Priok Port, but also from Bekasi, Cikarang, and Bogor. We are grateful for the community’s enthusiasm and hope that the Homecoming Program with BUMN Pelindo 2024 can provide benefits to the community in terms of both economy and environment,” concluded Guna.
