Jakarta, March 7, 2025 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) held a strategic working meeting to outline its plans for achieving the targets set by its shareholder, Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, for 2025. In 2024, IPC TPK recorded a 9.4% increase in container throughput compared to the previous year, reaching 3,177,939 TEUs, up from 2,904,043 TEUs in 2023. With this achievement, IPC TPK contributed more than 16% of the total container volume handled by the Pelindo Group.
“This year, shareholders have set a target for IPC TPK to handle a total throughput of 3,504,423 TEUs, with projected revenue of IDR 2.9 trillion and EBITDA of IDR 472.5 billion,” said Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary & External Relations of IPC TPK.
The annual working meeting serves as a platform for evaluation and communication among the company’s leadership, involving the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, and IPC TPK management. Under the theme (ESG) The Future of Sustainability: Conducting Collaboration, IPC TPK aims to focus on performance based on Economic, Social, and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles.
According to the company’s roadmap, 2025 marks the New Footprint & Operational Excellence phase, with key strategic initiatives including operational and corporate transformation, preparation for operating new terminal footprints, digitalization, and the implementation of green port initiatives. Transformation and digitalization remain key priorities in 2025 to enhance operational cost efficiency, reduce port stay durations, and provide seamless and transparent services to customers.
The President Director of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas attended the meeting and provided guidance as a shareholder. “I extend my gratitude to the IPC TPK team for their outstanding performance in supporting SPTP Group’s achievements in 2024. As part of the working meeting agenda, the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, and IPC TPK management conducted a benchmarking visit to Semarang Container Terminal. This visit aimed to share experiences, gain insights, and observe firsthand the management of a container terminal that plays a vital role in supporting the economy and development of Central Java.
