Jakarta, March 11, 2025 – To ensure smooth loading and unloading activities, IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) at Tanjung Priok is distributing 1,600 free iftar meal packages throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The Free Iftar Sharing Program is part of the Pelindo Ramadan Sharing 1446 H Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

“As a gesture of social care for the community around the port, IPC TPK is providing free iftar meals for truck drivers and dock workers. This initiative also ensures that loading and unloading operations continue uninterrupted,” said Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary & External Relations of IPC TPK.

The free iftar meals are designed to help truck drivers and dock workers observe their fast without needing to pause cargo-handling activities. The increase in container traffic during Ramadan has led to congestion in several terminals at the port.

The Pelindo Ramadan Sharing Program is an annual initiative carried out by the Pelindo Group during Ramadan and leading up to Eid al-Fitr. In addition to distributing free iftar meals, IPC TPK is also organizing Free Grocery Distribution and Orphan Assistance Programs across its operational areas. This series of social initiatives aims to strengthen relationships between IPC TPK and its stakeholders, including business partners, service users, and employees.

“Cargo flow during Ramadan tends to increase, often surpassing levels in other months. This program supports smooth traffic operations at the port, as drivers and dock workers can continue their activities while preparing for iftar,” Pramestie concluded.4o
