Panjang, 23 January 2026 – Panjang Port, Lampung, began the year by introducing a renewed Integrated Planning & Control function as part of ongoing efforts to standardize port facilities and services. This transformation represents a strategic step to improve time efficiency, planning accuracy, and overall terminal operational performance.

The inauguration of the Integrated Planning & Control facility was held on Wednesday (21/01). The event was attended by Hot Marojahan Hutapea, Head of the Class I Panjang Harbormaster and Port Authority Office; Budi Prasetio, Acting Executive Director of Pelindo Regional 2; Purwadi, Department Head of Pelindo Multipurpose Terminal; Hardianto, General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang Branch; as well as the Board of Directors and Management of IPC TPK.

The enhancement of the Integrated Planning & Control function is designed to strengthen operational service control, optimize vessel berthing schedules, and improve data-driven decision-making quality. These initiatives align with IPC TPK Panjang Area’s commitment to synergizing port services and delivering reliable, standardized, and competitive terminal operations.

“The beginning of the year is the right momentum to strengthen operational fundamentals. The new face of Integrated Planning & Control reflects our commitment to service synergy at Panjang Port and fosters renewed spirit within IPC TPK Panjang to deliver services that are increasingly professional, measurable, and performance-oriented,” said Anang Subagyono, Manager of IPC TPK Panjang Area.

This transformation is in line with the positive performance achieved by IPC TPK Panjang throughout 2025. Based on operational data, container throughput realization (TEUs) in 2025 recorded growth of 33.65%. This achievement demonstrates consistent throughput growth compared to 2024 and reflects the effectiveness of terminal operational management.

The improved performance was further supported by volume growth across several services, both international and domestic. In international services, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) recorded significant year-on-year growth of 74%. Meanwhile, domestic services showed positive performance from Sukses Sindo Damai with an increase of 83%, Tresnamuda Sejati with 36% growth, and CMA CGM with a 4% increase compared to the previous year.

In addition to regular services, throughout 2025 IPC TPK Panjang also handled 16 additional ad hoc ship calls, which contributed meaningfully to the terminal’s throughput growth.

Management of IPC TPK Panjang considers the renewal of the Planning & Control function to be a critical foundation for sustaining this growth momentum. With increasingly standardized planning and control systems, operational processes are expected to become more efficient, service time shorter, and terminal productivity continuously improved.

“The renewal of Integrated Planning & Control is part of IPC TPK Panjang’s commitment to standardizing terminal facilities and services. We aim to ensure that all planning and operational control processes are more measurable, responsive, and efficient. With this foundation, we are optimistic that future performance will continue to grow and service reliability for customers will further improve,” Anang concluded.

Looking ahead, IPC TPK Panjang remains optimistic that this transformation will strengthen terminal competitiveness, maintain customer trust, and support the sustainable achievement of the company’s performance targets.
