Jakarta, 6 December 2025 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) distributed assistance through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program to victims of flash floods that struck Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra in late November 2025. The aid was delivered through the Headquarters of the Indonesian Fleet Command (Koarmada RI) to ensure that distribution was well coordinated, properly targeted, and aligned with on-the-ground needs.

“We are deeply concerned about the flash flood disaster that has affected our brothers and sisters in these three provinces. Through collaboration with Koarmada RI, we ensure that the assistance reaches the communities most in need quickly and in a well-directed manner,” said Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK.

The flash floods in the three regions caused significant impacts. According to CNBC Indonesia, more than 2.1 million people were forced to evacuate, 3,600 houses suffered severe damage, 2,100 houses sustained moderate damage, and around 4,900 houses were lightly damaged. In addition, a number of public facilities such as schools, places of worship, and bridges were also affected.

IPC TPK provided assistance in the form of sanitation supplies, instant food, children’s necessities such as diapers, milk, and eucalyptus oil, health supplements, medicines, as well as other basic items such as towels and sarongs. The aid was received directly by Colonel (Navy) Djoko Prijatin from the Indonesian Fleet Command, Regional Command of the Indonesian Navy III.

“We hope that this assistance can support community recovery efforts, strengthen resilience in the post-disaster period, and help restore daily activities,” Pramestie concluded.
