Jakarta, 10 December 2025 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK), a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, has ensured that container loading and unloading services will continue to operate normally ahead of the 2025 Christmas holiday and the 2026 New Year. A series of anticipatory measures have been put in place to address potential surges in cargo flows as well as year-end weather dynamics, in order to maintain smooth logistics flows and service quality for customers.
Corporate Secretary & External Relations of IPC TPK, Pramestie Wulandary, stated that all IPC TPK operational areas will remain active throughout the Christmas and New Year period. “We ensure that loading and unloading activities and terminal services continue to operate normally to safeguard the smooth flow of national logistics during the holiday period,” she said.
To maintain operational continuity, IPC TPK has prepared various control measures, including checks on the readiness of cargo-handling equipment, strengthening workforce preparedness, and managing traffic flow inside and outside the terminal. IPC TPK also ensures that yard capacity, measured by the Yard Occupancy Ratio (YOR), remains well managed.
IPC TPK also supports government policies related to cargo flow restrictions ahead of the Christmas and New Year period. Management ensures that YOR arrangements are carried out in accordance with regulations set by shareholders, enabling loading and unloading activities to run efficiently without causing cargo congestion at the terminal.
In anticipation of weather dynamics during the rainy season, IPC TPK has strengthened the implementation of occupational safety procedures through regular weather monitoring, adjustments to equipment operations under certain conditions, enhanced on-site safety supervision, and intensive checks on equipment reliability.
IPC TPK has also intensified coordination with port stakeholders—such as the Port Authority Office, Harbormaster, Tanjung Priok Port Police, and other related agencies—to ensure smooth vehicle movement and logistics distribution during the Christmas and New Year period.
