Jakarta, March 21, 2025 – As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) is once again participating in the 2025 Mudik Bersama BUMN and Pelindo Group initiative, providing free homecoming trips for communities around the port. This annual program, which has been running for over a decade, aims to help people travel home safely and comfortably while easing their financial burden. IPC TPK has prepared 10 buses to transport 500 homecoming travelers from Jakarta to Semarang and back.

IPC TPK’s involvement in this Mudik Gratis (Free Homecoming) CSR Program aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

“We want to ensure that the public can enjoy a safer and more comfortable homecoming journey while also contributing to Indonesia’s sustainable development,” said Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK.

The registration for this program, which opened on March 17, 2025, was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. Applicants could sign up for free through http://simudipelindo.id, with all 500 available seats being booked within minutes.

The official departure of the homecoming travelers is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from Tanjung Priok Port, North Jakarta. To ensure a safe and smooth journey, all buses have undergone thorough inspections, and the drivers have undergone health screenings before the trip.

Beyond just transportation, IPC TPK will also provide food packages and travel kits for passengers, ensuring they have a more comfortable journey.

This program not only helps reduce traffic congestion but also enhances travel safety during the peak homecoming season.
