Jakarta, November 17, 2023 – The efforts of IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) to enhance the quality of loading and unloading services across all work areas have been recognized by the government through the National Standardization Agency (Badan Standardisasi Nasional or BSN). IPC TPK has consistently implemented the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), earning appreciation at the SNI Award 2023 in the Bronze Award category for Large Service Organizations. The award was received by Putra Indra Kusuma, Acting Senior Manager of Operations at IPC TPK.

This award serves as feedback and an evaluation tool for us in facing various challenges, improving the company’s competitiveness, and enhancing services to users. The implementation of SNI has driven the improvement of the company’s performance and its ability to manage change and transformation,” stated Guna, CEO of IPC TPK.
The SNI Award assesses the outstanding and sustainable performance of business entities, as well as the organization’s awareness to stimulate the increased implementation of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) by business players, including organizations. The evaluation for the SNI Award is conducted through document analysis and on-site assessments. This year, the award ceremony took place at the Jakarta Convention Center under the theme ‘Awarding SNI Award 2023 – 18th National Quality Award of Indonesia.’
“Our participation in this event is an effort to evaluate and improve in realizing the company’s vision of becoming an internationally integrated container terminal operator within the maritime ecosystem. We hope that in the future, IPC TPK can achieve the gold award at the SNI Award ceremony,” concluded Guna.
This year, there were 12 categories open to both government and private institutions. In the 2022 SNI Award, IPC TPK received the Bronze Award in the Large Other Services Organization category, and in the 2021 edition, it secured the Silver Award in the Large Services Organization category.
