Jakarta, June 16, 2025 – PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK), a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, has consistently recorded a positive performance trend in the second quarter of 2025. From January to May 2025, IPC TPK’s operational performance rose by 18% compared to the same period in 2024. The company recorded 1,406,875 TEUs in container handling from January to May 2025, up from 1,192,074 TEUs in the same period last year, across all IPC TPK operational areas.
“This trend is something we are committed to maintaining in order to support the growth of the national logistics sector by providing efficient services to our customers,” said Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary & Head of External Relations at IPC TPK.
Operational performance in May 2025 alone showed significant improvement, with a 14.57% increase compared to May 2024. Container traffic in May 2025 reached 320,109 TEUs, up from 279,394 TEUs in May 2024. The breakdown of growth by operational area in May 2025 versus May 2024 is as follows:
- Tanjung Priok Area 1: +12.3%
- Tanjung Priok Area 2: +14.4%
- Panjang Area: +40.1%
- Pontianak Area: +4.9%
- Palembang Area: +1%
- Teluk Bayur Area: +38.3%
- Jambi Area: +19.6%
In its pursuit of integrated service delivery, IPC TPK is undergoing several transformation initiatives. These include the implementation of Integrated Planning & Control across multiple operational areas, steps toward full deployment of the TONUS system across all IPC TPK terminals, and Traffic Management implementation at the Tanjung Priok Port area. Additionally, IPC TPK is conducting a phased refresh of operational knowledge related to Container Terminal Operations across its terminals.
These transformation efforts, coupled with effective collaboration, have had a significant positive impact on IPC TPK’s performance.
