Bandar Lampung, October 28, 2025 – The year 2025 marks a remarkable milestone for IPC TPK Panjang, one of the key container terminals in Southern Sumatra. With the rise in container traffic, the introduction of new services, and strengthened connectivity and digitalization, IPC TPK Panjang continues to demonstrate its vital contribution to national logistics efficiency and to the growth of export and import activities in the Lampung region.

“The performance of IPC TPK Panjang reflects our commitment to supporting logistics efficiency and enhancing Lampung’s export competitiveness. As of September 2025, container throughput at Panjang Terminal grew by 27.69%, reaching 90,655 TEUs, compared to 70,914 TEUs in the same period last year (September 2024),” said Anang Subagyono, Area Manager of IPC TPK Panjang.

The strong performance throughout 2025 further reinforces Panjang Port’s role in supporting Indonesia’s main ports, such as Tanjung Priok, in ensuring smooth national logistics flow. Through improved loading and unloading efficiency, better shipping connectivity, and easier export access, the terminal plays a significant role in accelerating the distribution of Lampung’s key commodities—such as coffee, pineapple, pulp, refined glycerin, and wood charcoal—to both domestic and international markets.

This strategic role not only helps reduce logistics costs and shorten delivery times but also fosters regional economic growth and strengthens the competitiveness of the national supply chain.

The positive performance of IPC TPK Panjang aligns with the rising export and import activities in the region. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lampung Province, in August 2025, Lampung’s export value reached US$ 684.46 million, an increase of 16.16% compared to August 2024 (US$ 589.23 million). Meanwhile, import value in August 2025 reached US$ 222.35 million, marking a surge of 130.41% from August 2024 (US$ 96.50 million).

Anang further emphasized that Lampung holds great potential for expanding international trade from Southern Sumatra. “At IPC TPK Panjang, we remain committed to providing reliable and efficient services, developing new shipping routes, and collaborating with logistics players to support the growth of export and import activities in this region,” concluded Anang.
