Jakarta, March 11, 2026 – Logistics activities at the beginning of Ramadan continue to show a positive trend across several operational areas of IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK). As of February 2026, the company recorded container throughput of 600,416 TEUs, an increase of 8.7% compared to the same period last year.

On a monthly basis, container throughput performance in February 2026 also showed a positive trend. IPC TPK recorded 300,525 TEUs, growing 10.6% compared to February 2025, which reached 271,521 TEUs. This achievement reflects sustained logistics activity across the company’s operational regions at the beginning of the year.

IPC TPK Corporate Secretary, Pramestie Wulandary, stated that IPC TPK continues to strengthen terminal operations to ensure the smooth flow of container traffic, particularly during the Ramadan period and ahead of the Eid holiday. The company also supports policies restricting freight transport operations by adjusting operational patterns and encouraging service users to arrange container delivery and pickup activities earlier.

According to her, IPC TPK continues to optimize terminal facilities and improve the productivity of loading and unloading equipment across its operational areas. In addition, the company is strengthening the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) aspects to ensure that every operational activity runs safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

The largest contribution to container throughput still comes from terminals in the Tanjung Priok area. As of February 2026, container throughput at Tanjung Priok 1 reached 208,198 TEUs, an increase of around 14% compared to the same period last year, which stood at 182,727 TEUs. Meanwhile, Tanjung Priok 2 recorded 286,613 TEUs, growing 6.9% compared to the previous year’s achievement of 268,127 TEUs.

Positive performance was also recorded at several IPC TPK terminals outside Jakarta. As of February 2026, container throughput in the Pontianak Area reached 43,550 TEUs, an increase of around 4.9% compared to the same period last year, which recorded 41,504 TEUs. In the Panjang Area, container throughput reached 20,660 TEUs, growing 20.9% compared to the previous year’s 17,075 TEUs. Meanwhile, the Teluk Bayur Area recorded 18,561 TEUs, an increase of 7.8% compared to 17,220 TEUs in the same period last year.

This growth in container throughput indicates that logistics activities remain well maintained across our operational areas. “Going forward, we will continue to encourage cross-functional communication and coordination with various stakeholders. This collaboration is key to ensuring the smooth flow of logistics, especially during periods of increased distribution activity,” Pramestie concluded.
