Batang, 2 December 2025 – PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) has once again reinforced its position as a port operator committed to sustainability by securing two prestigious awards at the Indonesia Corporate Sustainability (ICS) Award 2025. The national event—considered a benchmark for corporate sustainability performance in Indonesia—was held at the Industropolis Batang Special Economic Zone (KEK) and attended by prominent figures, including the Minister of Environment and Forestry, the Governor of Central Java, representatives from the Ministry of Industry, and the Indonesian Carbon Emission Experts Association, underscoring the prestige of the awards.
This year, ICS Award recorded 277 participating companies, but only 80 made it through as award recipients—making IPC TPK’s achievements among the most standout across diverse industry sectors.
IPC TPK received Silver in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Excellence category and Bronze in the Best Environmental Community Development category. These dual achievements position IPC TPK as one of the companies successfully translating ESG principles into concrete and measurable initiatives.
IPC TPK’s Corporate Secretary and External Relations, Pramestie Wulandary, stated that the awards are a validation of the company’s inclusive operational culture and its tangible impact on communities and the environment.
“These achievements strengthen our steps forward—sustainability is not merely a commitment, but a vital foundation in enhancing IPC TPK’s operational quality and social contribution. We will continue this consistency through relevant and sustainable program development,” she said.
In the DEI Excellence category, IPC TPK was recognized for the Ladies Operations program—an initiative that provides space for female employees to participate directly in port operations, from technical and safety training to field assignments. The program is acknowledged for expanding career access for women in a sector traditionally dominated by male workers.
Meanwhile, the recognition in the Best Environmental Community Development category was supported by the Papanggo Compost Garden program, a community development initiative in the core surrounding area of the port’s operations. The program processes organic waste into compost to support local urban farming. Beyond environmental benefits, it also helps reduce household expenses and enhances community participation in daily environmental management.
The ICS Award is the flagship sustainability recognition presented by PT Olahkarsa Inovasi Indonesia through the Indonesia Corporate Sustainability Outlook (ICSO) series. With the involvement of various ministries and national sustainability experts, the event serves as a key reference point for companies committed to supporting the transition toward a green economy.
