Jakarta, April 29, 2026 – PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) welcomed two international delegations at Tanjung Priok Port on Monday (April 28), as part of efforts to strengthen relations and explore cooperation opportunities in the maritime, technology, and port sectors with global partners.
The first visit took place in the morning by the United States Maritime and Tech Security Trade Mission. During the agenda, the delegation conducted a review of terminal operations and engaged in discussions on maritime sector development, technology, port security, and strengthening a modern logistics ecosystem.
Later in the afternoon, IPC TPK also received a delegation from Estonia as part of the official visit of Estonia’s Minister of Infrastructure to Indonesia. The delegation observed container terminal operations and discussed potential collaboration in port services, maritime infrastructure, and the development of efficient and integrated logistics systems.
Both visits were held at the Planning and Control room of IPC TPK, Tanjung Priok Port, and were facilitated as part of IPC TPK’s support for PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) (Pelindo) in expanding its international network and exploring strategic partnerships with various countries.
The Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK stated that these visits marked an important momentum to showcase the operational capabilities of Indonesia’s container terminals while strengthening the position of national ports within the global logistics chain.
“IPC TPK fully supports Pelindo’s initiatives to open up international collaboration opportunities in the maritime and logistics sectors. These visits provide an opportunity to demonstrate our operational readiness, service transformation, and continuous terminal development efforts to deliver more modern, efficient, and integrated services,” said Daniel Setiawan, Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK.
IPC TPK views the visits from both delegations as aligned with the company’s transformation direction and corporate actions, particularly in driving terminal service digitalization, improving cargo handling efficiency, and strengthening technology-based operational systems. Various transformation initiatives currently undertaken by IPC TPK are aimed at increasing terminal productivity, accelerating cargo flow, and supporting the smooth operation of the national supply chain.
Through these visits, IPC TPK hopes to open broader opportunities for knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and strategic synergy with international partners. Such collaborations are expected to support the development of Indonesia’s maritime sector to become more adaptive to technological advancements and the evolving demands of global trade.
