Jakarta, February 10th 2021 – Considering the Covid-19 outbreak that getting out of control, IPC Container Terminal /IPC TPK a subsidiary of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero), continue distributed New Normal Kits at Tanjung Priok Port. Head of the Tanjung Priok Port Authority, Capt. Mugen Suprihatin Sartoto accompanied by the Director of Commercial and Business Development of IPC TPK, David P. Sirait were involved in this activity.

“The Covid-19 contagion is becoming more worrisome. IPC TPK will continue to take persuasive steps to reduce the Covid-19 contagion, especially in the port area. We have been doing this activity regularly since early 2020. The Interaction with users in the port area cannot be avoided although we already doing most of the services is going online. ” David said.

500 packages New Normal Kit including masks and hand sanitizers were distributed to users and container truck drivers in 4 (four) different locations in Tanjung Priok Port, that is Tanjung Priok 1 Area, Tanjung Priok 2 Area, Terminal Support Area and IPC TPK Billing Center.

In 2020, IPC TPK has distributed 5,000 new normal kit packages to users in the 6 container terminal area who managed by IPC TPK including Tanjung Priok Port, Panjang Port, Palembang Port, Pontianak Port, Teluk Bayur Port and Jambi Port.

David said that the event was held to support the government programs to reduce the contagion of Covid-19. On the other hand, it is also can make the users feel comfort and safety to come to the IPC TPK work area.
