Jakarta, August 11, 2026 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) has once again recorded a positive operational performance trend, posting an 8% year-on-year increase in cumulative container throughput from January to July 2026. This growth was driven by service optimization and improved efficiency across all terminal operating areas. Container throughput reached 2,171,202 TEUs in the first seven months of 2026, up from 2,009,185 TEUs recorded during the same period last year.
“This positive achievement reflects IPC TPK’s ongoing commitment to maintaining operational excellence and strengthening synergy with our service users,” said Daniel Setiawan, Senior Manager of Corporate Secretariat at IPC TPK.
The positive performance was also in line with significant growth in July 2026, when container throughput increased by 13.7% year-on-year to 353,465 TEUs, compared with 310,846 TEUs in July 2025. The growth was supported by strong performance across several terminals in July 2026. Teluk Bayur Terminal recorded the highest increase at 30.8%, followed by Panjang Terminal at 29.1%, Tanjung Priok Terminal at 15.2%, and Jambi Terminal at 6%.
Through operational integration and greater efficiency across port systems at all terminals, IPC TPK continues to ensure efficient services for its customers. Accelerating loading and unloading services remains a key focus to support the smooth flow of the national supply chain and enhance Indonesia’s logistics competitiveness.
“We hope this achievement will continue to motivate the entire IPC TPK team to consistently maintain service quality, improve operational efficiency, and sustain this positive performance trend,” Daniel concluded.
