Bogor, August 27, 2024 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) hosted a Gala Dinner to express its appreciation to customers and business partners for their synergy and support in the operational transformation of IPC TPK’s container terminals. Attended by over 60 customers from 8 operational areas across Indonesia, the event marked the conclusion of the celebrations for IPC TPK’s 11th anniversary, which fell on July 10th.

Yanuar Evyanto, Director of Finance, HR & Risk Management at IPC TPK, stated that this event serves as a token of appreciation for the collaboration with customers and partners that has been established over the years. The contributions of customers and partners have been significant in ensuring the smooth distribution of goods to and from the ports.

“This event is a gesture of our gratitude for your continued support. We hope that this activity will strengthen the relationship between IPC TPK and its customers and partners, thereby enhancing cooperation and contributing to sustainable economic growth,” explained Yanuar.

IPC TPK is committed to optimizing and standardizing its services. To improve service quality and meet the needs of service users, IPC TPK has undertaken operational transformations across all its terminals.

Yanuar Evyanto expressed hope that the collaboration between IPC TPK and its various service users and partners would help boost Indonesia’s export-import value and the flow of goods. According to data from Indonesia’s Central Statistics Agency, the country’s export value in July 2024 reached USD 22.21 billion, a 6.55% increase compared to June 2024. Meanwhile, Indonesia’s import value in July 2024 reached USD 21.74 billion, up 17.82% from June 2024.

The strong collaboration between IPC TPK, service users, and business partners has driven performance growth in line with the 11.6% throughput increase recorded in July 2024 compared to the same period the previous year.

The event also served as a platform for communication between management and service users to further enhance services at all IPC TPK terminals. Additionally, it aimed to foster good relationships and strengthen collaboration in addressing global challenges.

“IPC TPK’s services have improved year after year. We have particularly noticed better handling of export cargo from our company,” said Edi Hartono, a representative from PT Great Giant Pineapple, one of the service users in the IPC TPK Panjang area.
