Jakarta, March 13, 2024 – IPC Terminal Petikemas/IPC TPK, a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, held a Work Meeting to establish strategies to achieve the targets set by the shareholders for the year 2024. Based on the Company’s roadmap, in 2024 IPC TPK enters the year of Business Integration with a target increase in container traffic of 10.8% and a net profit of 27%.
In his opening speech, Guna Mulyana, President Director of IPC TPK, expressed that the Work Meeting is an effort to encourage the commitment of all IPC TPK personnel in facing future dynamics and challenges. He also appreciated the achievements and performance of IPC TPK recorded throughout the year 2023 and stated that IPC TPK is ready to achieve the targets set by the shareholders for this year.
Operation Improvement and Integration are the focus of IPC TPK management in driving the improvement of cargo handling performance in 2024. Operation Improvement will be carried out by strengthening operational foundations and services through enhancing the skills of the operational team, creating a safe working environment, optimizing port equipment, standardizing operations based on planning & control, and cost efficiency in operations.
Under the theme ‘Accelerating Excellence and Sustainable Terminals Through Business Collaboration,’ the annual work meeting was held to enhance operational performance in achieving business integration.
In addition to operation improvement, this year IPC TPK will also focus on building integration between container terminals and the logistics network ecosystem, as well as developing terminal-related business support that enhances core business services. This integration extends not only within the terminal but also with relevant stakeholders and service users.
“The year 2024 will present its own challenges for us. IPC TPK will strengthen its role in managing container terminals in Indonesia through performance improvement, cost control, and safety and green port initiatives,” concluded Guna Mulyana, President Director of IPC TPK.
