Jakarta, April 25, 2024 – IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK), a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, hosted its inaugural QHSSE Forum at Tanjung Priok Port. The forum aimed to enhance stakeholder awareness of health, safety, security, environment, and to provide a platform for discussing related issues with partners and stakeholders operating within Tanjung Priok Port. The primary objective of this forum is to achieve a Zero Accident, Zero Spill, and Zero Loss work environment.

“Our presence at today’s forum is to reinforce solidarity in conducting business at Tanjung Priok Port, prioritizing health, safety, environment, and quality standards. The Zero Accident, Zero Spill, and Zero Loss conditions can be realized through communication and internalization of health and safety culture across all entities operating at the port,” stated Ahmad Mimbar, Director of Operations & Engineering at IPC TPK, during his opening remarks.

The QHSSE Forum took place at the VIP Room of Nusantara Raya Passenger Terminal at Tanjung Priok Port (25/4), attended by IPC TPK Area Tanjung Priok’s Directors and Management, inviting working partners from Stevedoring Companies (PBM), Trucking Companies, port security personnel, and several subsidiaries of Pelindo Group.

IPC TPK is committed to consistently meeting quality requirements and complying with safety, security, and environmental regulations to ensure quality service delivery. Through the QHSSE forum, IPC TPK management aims to enhance communication and coordination with partners/stakeholders, recognizing the need for multi-party involvement in creating a safe, clean, and healthy port environment.

“It is planned that this forum will be held regularly so that IPC TPK and partners/stakeholders can jointly evaluate the implementation of health, safety, and environmental practices. We hope this forum will foster a stronger health and safety culture within IPC TPK’s operational areas, thereby ensuring efficient operations without any accidents,” Mimbar concluded.
